Seattle, Sweet Seattle

Dear Alyboo...My trip to Seattle was lovely. This picture above was the afternoon I arrived. Michelle and Ava and I went for a walk and then we just hung out in the yard enjoying the sun. We had two sunny days inbtween rainy days. The next day Michelle and I went to Bellevue for some shopping. Amazingly Ava lasted for four hours at the mall, she started to lose it at the end.

Saturday was the best day! The weather was 80 degrees, similar to when we visited in September. We spent the afternoon at Gasworks Park and had a little picnic. We had watche the Kite Runner the night before and Lauren was excited to try and fly his kite. His kite was a big toucan and the wind wasn't quite strong enough to get it off the ground. It was quite funny watching him try though. After the park Lauren took Ava home and Michelle and I went and did more shopping downtown and at Pike Place.

On Sunday we traveled up to Skagit Valley and visited the tulip gardens. It wasn't as warm as the day before but the tulips were amazing.
